Catering and Event Sales Manager
Location : Stirling, NJ
A well-established full-service restaurant and event venue in Stirling, NJ is seeking an experienced Catering and Event Sales Manager to lead our catering and event sales operations. The ideal candidate is a results-driven hospitality professional with excellent communication skills, a strong background in event planning, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences to clients.
Responsibilities :
Develop and manage catering and event sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Conduct site tours, prepare proposals, and coordinate contracts for weddings, corporate events, and private functions.
Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
Oversee event logistics, including staffing, timelines, and client communications.
Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability for events.
Track and report on sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in catering and event management.
Qualifications :
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in catering, event sales, or hospitality management.
Proven track record of achieving sales goals and managing successful events.
Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and manage multiple events simultaneously.
Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
