Job Description
The Property Manager is responsible for all community operations, leasing, effectively managing people, activities and available resources to accomplish community objectives set forth by the Regional Property Manager and management company.
General tasks include :
- Assist with budgets
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- Rent collections
- Apartment Leasing
- Resident retention and communications
- Vendor scheduling and communications
- Supervise, train and motivate staff and assist with hiring
- Follow safety guidelines and conduct safety / preventive maintenance inspections
- Maintain resident and employee files
- Attend periodic training meetings
- Physically walk and inspect community and vacant apartments on a daily basis
- Assist caretakers and maintenance in snow removal
- Needs to utilize personal transportation for trips to bank, visits to corporate office and other occasional management tasks
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
