Property Manager – Affordable Housing

Location : St. Paul & Minneapolis, MN

Pay : $30+ per hour (DOE)

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager with Affordable Housing experience to oversee residential communities in the Twin Cities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of compliance requirements, leadership skills, and a commitment to providing excellent service to residents.

Responsibilities :

Oversee daily operations of assigned communities, ensuring compliance with Affordable Housing regulations (HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, etc.)

Supervise and support leasing, maintenance, and administrative staff

Manage budgets, financial reporting, and rent collections

Conduct property inspections and ensure timely completion of work orders and turns

Maintain positive resident relations and resolve tenant concerns professionally

Prepare for and participate in audits, inspections, and compliance reporting

Qualifications :

4+ years of Property Management experience with Affordable Housing

Strong knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, or other Affordable Housing programs

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in property management software is a plus
