The English Language Institute at The University of Alabama is seeking a full-time, annually renewable, non-tenure-earning ESL Instructor beginning March 2026 for classes in the UA-ELI@KGU intensive English program at Kansai Gaidai University in Japan.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include an MA in TESOL or equivalent, ESL teaching experience (IEP-based experience preferred) and proficiency in English; hiring may be dependent on English assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer administrative experience and teaching experience in Japan.
