job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAfter new business awards, responsible for processing and management of project through various areas until completion (Gantt charts, customer milestones, APQP, PFMEA, process flow, process steps) Create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources Project task delegation to team members best positioned to complete tasks Identify and manage potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects Assist in the definition of project scope and goals Leadership / Ownership of internal and external projects Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project Serve as point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy Occasional travel to customers and suppliers Communicating with executives to keep the project aligned with their goals Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed Motivating people involved in the project to complete tasks on time Prepare various reports and keep customer records Provide project cost summaries and present to executives Production launch support Science and engineering graduates with good communication skills Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Master of Science or related field required. Work experience is not required, Entry-level applicants welcome. General understanding in cost calculation, job costing and customer contact. Must have computer skills in MS Office & MS Project and basics understanding in working with ERP-systems. Basic in mechanical engineering Must have troubleshooting and analyzing skills Strong communication skills and detail oriented 3-5 hours per day sitting at computer station 3-5 hours per day standing moving around facility including stairs Lifting up to 30lbs.
