We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Secretary to join a Bastrop-based law firm. This role will primarily provide administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations in the office. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and comfortable handling both client-facing and back-office tasks.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
Scan, file, and organize documents to maintain accurate office records.
Greet clients and visitors, providing basic information or directing them to the appropriate staff.
Assist with general office duties, including mail handling and scheduling.
Support attorneys and staff with basic administrative needs as required.
Previous experience in an office, legal, or administrative role preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with basic office equipment (scanner, copier, phone system) and Microsoft Office tools.
