This position will support a 3 : 1 desk in a successful insurance defense firm and requires prior working experience with litigation matters, preferably high volume insurance defense matters. Qualified candidate must be detailed oriented, handle court filings, preparation and drafting of pleadings, strong calendaring skills with or without calendaring program, professional demeanor with clients, opposing counsels, vendors, and court personnel.

The candidate should be able to work in a fast paced environment and ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines. Able to successfully maintain trial calendaring deadlines and experience with trial preparation preferred. Candidate will be proactive, resourceful, remain flexible and a team player, and must be able to handle prioritizing multiple projects and tasks. Excellent attendance and punctuality is needed.

Must be highly proficient in transcription and various computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe, Excel and Power Point.
