About the Role Are you a hands-on engineer who loves solving problems and driving process improvements? Manufacturing Engineer Location : Loves Park, Illinois – (On-Site) Your mission as a Manufacturing Engineer in our Dart team : The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting production operations through improving processes, hands-on troubleshooting, and documentation management in our fun environment of dart board assembly. This experienced engineer will develop and own engineering processes and play a critical role in implementing changes within the dart board production. Use your engineering degree and experience to build champion quality dart boards that are sold across the globe! Your day-to-day : Provide hands-on support to production lines for immediate issue resolution and process stabilization. Lead engineering team to implement and document Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Develop and own accurate work instructions, assembly procedures, and visual aids. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for production-related nonconformances. Support the setup and validation of new fixtures, tooling, and test stations. Monitor production metrics and identify areas for process improvement. Coordinate and document First Article Inspections (FAIs) and process validations. Assist in preparation and execution of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions with suppliers. Collaborate with suppliers on improving injection molding process to ensure quality parts. Ensure that documentation is up to date and aligned with system of record. Your profile : Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred. 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing support or production engineering environment. Experience with electromechanical assembly or plastic / injection molding is preferred. Skills & Competencies : Proficiency with SolidWorks a must Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and basic quality tools (5 Whys, fishbone, Pareto). Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and document control systems. Attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up abilities. Ability to work on-site in Loves Park, Illinois, Monday – Friday to support a first shift production operation.
