Customer Service : Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting delivery schedules and addressing any issues promptly. Safety and Compliance : Ensure all transportation activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including safety and environmental standards. Provide training and guidance to drivers on safety protocols and procedures. Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels of petroleum products and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock. Ensure accurate record-keeping of product quantities and delivery receipts. Problem-Solving : Quickly identify and resolve any issues related to transportation, such as vehicle breakdowns, delays, or route changes. Implement contingency plans to address unexpected disruptions in the delivery schedule. Collaboration : Work closely with the sales and operations teams to align delivery schedules with business needs. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure vehicles are serviced and maintained regularly. Technology Utilization : Use dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and other technology tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the dispatch process. Stay updated with the latest advancements in transportation and logistics technology. Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field, preferably within the petroleum industry Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and other logistics tools Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing schedules and documentation Outstanding Customer Service Skills Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues Familiarity with federal, state, and local transportation regulations and safety standards Sitting for long periods of time Walking occasionally Lifting up to 15lbs Occasional stooping and bending over

JOB DESCRIPTION :
A petroleum dispatcher coordinates the delivery and transportation of petroleum products, ensuring efficient and timely distribution to various locations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to manage logistics operations and maintain compliance with safety regulations. Other related tasks as requested by supervisor as needed.
This position will be a Overnights (6pm - 6am) rotation of 4 days working, followed by 4 days off.
