Guest Service Representative - Hotel Front Desk

The Hampton Inn & Suites, Sarasota / Lakewood Ranch, located at 8565 Cooper Creek Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34201, is seeking a Guest Services Representative to join our Front Desk team. Our newly renovated hotel, surrounded by UTC shops in Lakewood Ranch, is just off I-75 and a short walk from shopping and dining at University Town Center. We offer a daily complimentary breakfast to our guests and are within five miles of Nathan Benderson Park and Waterside Place. Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport is 15 minutes away. The Hampton Inn & Suites is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

The Guest Services Representative / Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel, providing superior service to all guests. Responsibilities include :

• Greeting guests, completing the check-in / check-out procedure through the Property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handling cash, credit card information, and goods at the property.
• Identifying the needs of each guest and providing relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities, to create an accommodating environment for all. Responding to all guest requests in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations from incoming callers while providing excellence in service and inputting all information into the hotel management system. Updating and canceling reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
