Job Type : Associate Counsel - Franchising
Job Location : Chicago, IL - Hybrid with 3 days in the office
Job Type : Contract (3-month duration) 40 hours per week
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. No Corp to Corp or 3rd party agencies.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and process franchise agreements, leases, and new terms for existing franchisees.
- Work closely with a coordinator who prepares franchise documents; review, provide feedback, and coordinate sign-off with the contract attorney.
- Manage a high volume of documentation and ensure processing is completed timely and accurately.
- Follow up with business teams to clarify items such as rent and franchise fees.
- Support and maintain relationships with existing franchisees.
- Work within internal franchise management systems and MS Office Suite, including Access.
- Consistently complete tasks on schedule in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
