POSITION DESCRIPTION :

Qcells is seeking a Operation Specialist to support the Business Planning and Finance team of Axia , a leading residential solar provider. In this role, you will oversee commission calculation processing and drive core operational and analytical processes that support Axia’s business objectives.

Your primary responsibilities include analyzing revenue and cost data to develop accurate gross profit forecasts, providing actionable insights to leadership, and supporting cross-functional teams in improving key financial metrics. You will also partner with business stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and ensure scalability as the business grows.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious, with a proven ability to interpret data and uncover the story behind the numbers.

This position is based in Irvine, CA or San Francisco, CA , and requires up to 20% travel as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Play a key role in the monthly financial close process by analyzing variances and delivering clear, actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Investigate financial trends to identify risks, opportunities, and performance drivers, supporting accurate forecasting and decision-making.
• Improve data management, financial models, and forecasting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency across the business.
• Build and maintain analytical tools, including automated dashboards and self-service reporting, to empower teams with real-time insights.
• Contribute to key finance initiatives focused on process optimization, reporting enhancements, and continuous improvement

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
