Controls Engineer

Job Description

• Maintain safety, quality, and manufacturing standards in accordance with internal and external expectations.
• Troubleshoot control system problems and implement short- and long-term corrective actions.
• Integrate control systems to measure and / or improve performance.
• Create and maintain controller programs (i.e., PLC, Computer, HMI, VFD).
• Develop and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance schedules for control systems.
• Maintain electrical and control drawings and schematics.
• Utilize a collaborative, synchronous approach to project implementation.
• Participate in formal problem-solving activities, including addressing customer complaints and continual improvement projects.
• Provide controls support and troubleshooting training to maintenance staff.
