Responsibilities :
- Organize and dispatch drivers to optimize route efficiency and on-time deliveries.
- Maintain consistent communication with drivers to address schedule changes or challenges.
- Monitor ongoing tasks and provide timely updates to both management and customers.
- Answer incoming calls and manage requests related to scheduling and service inquiries.
- Input and maintain accurate data in the dispatch system to ensure operational accuracy.
- Resolve issues that arise during daily operations through effective problem-solving.
- Offer administrative assistance to support dispatch-related workflows.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service quality.
- Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or scheduling is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including ERP software and data entry.
- Familiarity with tools such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, IBM AS / 400, and About Time.
- Experience handling inbound calls and managing billing functions.
- Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges efficiently.
