The Workday U.S. Payroll Consultant (Workday) plays a key role in supporting payroll solutions and supporting clients through their Workday journey. The role focuses on implementing, configuring, and enhancing payroll capabilities to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient operations across complex environments. As a senior consultant, you'll partner with client stakeholders to design and implement Workday Payroll, while also providing post-deployment support and guidance to maximize value.
Key Responsibilities :
- Client Partnership : Act as support to client payroll and HR teams, guiding them through payroll design decisions, best practices, and compliance considerations.
- Implementation & Configuration : Support the setup, testing, and deployment of Workday Payroll, including earnings, deductions, tax, and integration touchpoints with third-party providers.
- Process Optimization : Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve data accuracy, and reduce manual intervention across payroll cycles.
- Compliance & Controls : Ensure payroll design and operations remain aligned with U.S. federal, state, and local wage and tax regulations.
- Testing & Validation : Execute test strategies to validate payroll calculations, integrations, and reporting functionality.
- Knowledge Transfer : Provide guidance, training, and documentation to client teams to strengthen long-term payroll operations within Workday.
Minimum Requirements :
3+ years of progressive payroll consulting or management experience.Knowledge of U.S. payroll operations, tax compliance, and internal controls.Proven hands-on experience implementing or configuring Workday Payroll.Excellent communication and consulting skills to engage with business and technical stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with payroll-specific integrations and reporting tools.Workday U.S. Payroll Certification required.We champion equality and inclusivity, proudly supporting an Equal Opportunity Employer policy.
