Description : About SAIL

SAIL is growingand were looking for a driven, experienced, and mission-aligned Affordable Multi-Site Business Manager to lead operations at two of our affordable communities in the Twin Cities while guiding newer managers at smaller sites in our portfolio. This is a unique opportunity for a strong leader who thrives on accountability, loves problem-solving, and is motivated to deliver exceptional results while making a tangible difference in residents lives.

What Youll Do

Lead & Support

  • Oversee daily operations for two affordable housing communities.
  • Mentor and support newer Managers at smaller sitesproviding guidance, best practices, and hands-on problem solving.
  • Develop team members through regular coaching, feedback, and skills training to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Operational & Financial Oversight

  • Achieve budgeted performance goals by analyzing financials, optimizing rents, reducing delinquency, and managing expenses.
  • Partner with maintenance teams to ensure strong curb appeal, timely work order completion, and safe, welcoming environments.
  • Monitor occupancy, leasing velocity, and retentionidentifying opportunities to improve results across the portfolio.

    • Compliance & Resident Experience

  • Ensure full compliance with LIHTC, Section 8, and other affordable housing program requirements.
  • Oversee leasing, recertifications, inspections, and reporting with precision.
  • Champion a concierge-level resident experience by fostering responsiveness, proactive communication, and personalized service.

    • Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with SAILs centralized support teams to streamline processes and share operational insights.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Regional & Director providing timely updates and participating in property tours and meetings.

    Requirements :

    What Were Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing and LIHTC programs.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multiple sites or larger teams.
  • Solid understanding of affordable housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and compliance best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and hold teams accountable.
  • Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software.
  • A proactive problem-solver who brings personal best energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm to every day.

    • Compensation details : 70000-75000 Yearly Salary
