We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead modernization initiatives for federal HR and payroll systems. This fully remote role requires overseeing complex multi-phase programs, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of critical projects. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies to manage risks, schedules, and stakeholder expectations effectively. Accountabilities

• Lead and manage federal IT projects, including FPPS modernization and legacy system rehosting initiatives.
• Develop project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate across development, database, QA, and business teams to ensure program success.
• Oversee multi-phase re-engineering, migration, and modernization efforts.
• Maintain stakeholder communication and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with federal IT standards, governance policies, and security requirements.
• Apply project management best practices using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
