Job Summary

The Private Lending Services (PLS) team is a key control-focused middle-office function within Private Wealth Management (PWM) Operations at Goldman Sachs. The team supports the PWM Private Lending organization by managing the origination of new loans through GS Bank USA and GS International Bank for PWM clients and Private Equity firms across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia .

The PLS team plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with federal regulations during loan origination, funding, and ongoing maintenance throughout the loan lifecycle.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

• Develop deep product and process knowledge : Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Private Lending business by collaborating with Regional Lending Managers, Private Lending Underwriters, Credit, Legal, Global Client Financing, and other operations teams across global regions.
• Client and advisor support : Partner with Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) and Wealth Management Product Specialists (WMPS) to assist clients with loan applications, origination, and ongoing servicing within the portfolio.
• Risk and control management : Apply strong risk management practices and maintain strict adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements of GS Bank USA—one of the firm’s most regulated entities—while delivering a superior client experience.
• Process improvement and efficiency : Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and enhance operational controls to support the growth of the Private Lending business.
