Role : Junior Contracts Specialist based out of Houston, TX. This is a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess experience in coordinating end-to-end contracting from requirements, definition, bidding, sourcing, negotiating and securing agreements. Due to business need, all candidates must be local. No relocation, sponsorship or per diem will be offered.

About You :

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or a related discipline. Alternatively, candidates with 5 or more years of experience in contracts will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years related contracting / procurement / supply chain experience with strong vendor relationship skills
• 5+ years' experience in midstream oil and gas
• Proficiency in SAP
• Knowledge of industry standards (API, ASME, PHMSA, OSHA) and their contractual implications
• Experience with EPC, O&M, and technical service agreements
• Knowledge of dispute resolution and claims management
