We are looking for an experienced senior attorney to help clients achieve favorable outcomes with legal matters. You will advocate for clients, advise them on the best course of action, and implement their legal support plan. You should have previous trial experience, be able to manage a heavy caseload, and use your general counsel experience and interpersonal skills to mentor our lower-level associates to ensure a continued legacy of prosperity. Compensation :

$135,000 - $150,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

• Strategize, prepare for, and attend trial proceedings, mediation, and arbitration
• Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and laws
• Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
• Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses
• Draft Detailed Responsive Documents
• Draft memorandum summarizing client defense responses
• Keep track of information and documents obtained from client, submitted to regulatory agencies or tribunal, etc., throughout the life of the case
• Prepare expert packets
• Conduct research
• Draft various correspondence and pleadings
• Exchanged e-mails and conducted telephone calls with clients, witnesses, experts, and other legal professionals
• Administrative hearing appearances, including preparing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and other tasks as needed
• Track time spent on tasks and enter into billing software
• You need to have strong skills in the following areas : research, writing, courtroom presentation, the ability to communicate with clients, and use of common technology.
• We are looking for a team player willing to take ownership of a client's case, including direct contact with clients and opposing counsel, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and handling depositions, pretrial hearings, and trials. Yes, trials.
