Line cooks are passionate about our cuisine, customer service and pay attention to detail. Line cooks work in a fast-paced environment with an array of equipment specified to Maplewood Brewing Company. This position is responsible for ensuring that all menu items are prepared correctly and plated consistently.
This is generally a DAYTIME OPENING LINE COOK POSITION. THURSDAY - SUNDAY 9am-3pm. Additional closing hours may be available as business dictates.
Requirements
The functions and areas of responsibilities include :
- With minimal assistance, be able to set up and work multiple stations at an acceptable level
- Familiarity with a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines
- With assistance, able to perform prep tasks assigned by Chef and Lead Cook
- Sets up multiple stations as required
- Operates, maintains and properly cleans kitchen equipment
- Maintains and cleans their required tools and equipment
- Works efficiently with a constant sense of urgency and professionalism
- Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- Able to work a flexible schedule as business dictates including holidays and weekends
- Performs shift change and / or opening or closing duties & tasks
- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictates
- Maintains a positive attitude, especially under pressure
- Maintains a clean and neat professional appearance
Minimum Qualifications
