About the Role
Fishbeck is seeking an IT Solutions Analyst to support our Infrastructure and Transportation teams, with a strong focus on Bentley design software. This role ensures alignment with state DOT requirements and smooth interoperability across Infrastructure, Transportation, and Geospatial departments. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in an A / E environment, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with IT Helpdesk and design staff to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver timely solutions.
- Manage DOT design requirements for Bentley solutions such as MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
- Develop push-button deployments for design applications in coordination with the automation team.
- Collaborate with IT teams to analyze challenges and implement both short- and long-term solutions.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies, including AI-based solutions for IT and internal teams.
- Work with external software vendors on licensing management, system upgrades, and cross-platform compatibility.
- Provide training and technical guidance to the Desktop Support team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Department Director.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT certifications, or equivalent work experience in a technical role.Minimum 5+ years of experience in a related technical role.Exceptional knowledge of computer hardware and Microsoft Windows operating systems.Strong history of application support, with specific experience in Bentley solutions in a DOT-related design environment.Programming knowledge in PowerShell, VB.Net, or Python.Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.Experience with Electronic Content Management systems (e.g., Bentley ProjectWise or Autodesk ACC).Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.Willingness to travel to regional offices across multiple states, with some overnight stays required.Physical Requirements
