Position Summary
We’re seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support our field and project management operations for an exterior waterproofing and concrete restoration project within an occupied residential complex in Marina del Rey, CA .
This role is ideal for someone who understands construction sequencing, enjoys being on site, and is confident in observing, documenting, and communicating work progress and quality. A dedicated on-site office is provided. Full-time employees are expected to maintain a regular on-site presence during working hours to monitor contractor activities, track progress, and support project coordination efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe and document ongoing waterproofing and concrete restoration work.
- Prepare clear, concise daily field reports and photographic records for review by senior staff.
- Maintain accurate project tracking logs, including RFIs, Submittals, and the Construction Issues Log used for field observations and coordination items.
- Monitor and document conformance with the owner-contractor agreement.
- Assist with weekly progress updates and monthly reports to ownership.
- Attend and document coordination meetings (on-site or virtual).
- Communicate professionally with county inspectors, contractors, consultants, vendors, and ownership representatives.
- Support senior staff with follow-up items, schedule monitoring, and document management.
Preferred Background / Experience
Familiarity with waterproofing systems , concrete repair techniques , or building envelope restoration is highly desirable.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering preferred.2–5 years of experience in construction administration, field coordination, or a related role.Strong written communication, organization, and observation skills.Demonstrated patience and professionalism when interacting with residents.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and basic project management tools.Knowledge of building systems, technical drawings, specifications, and field reporting standards.Candidates with additional licenses, certifications, or registrations are preferred.Must have reliable transportation to Marina del Rey.Work Schedule & Compensation
