Overview
Omega Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated Configuration Management Specialist to support ongoing operations in Aiken, SC. This position plays a vital role in advancing critical mission objectives within a highly regulated and technically demanding environment.
As a trusted partner to government agencies and national laboratories, Omega Technical Services supports some of the nation's most complex and high-impact programs. Responsibilities
The purpose of this position is to plan and perform work requiring sound technical judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of project management assignments worldwide. This role is responsible for performing the essential job duties and functions listed below, with the overall objective of managing and / or coordinating project activities that comply with the contract, ensuring the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability of the completed project for Fluor. Performing assigned general duties of limited scope and level of responsibility, this position is designed to develop broader project management knowledge and experience. At this level, the role may involve being the sole project engineer on a medium-sized project, with full accountability for all general duties, or assuming responsibility for general duties on a larger or more complex segment of an extensive project.
Configuration Management (Project Engineer II) individual supports (monitors / tracks / controls) the consistency between the system changes to the project documentation and data.
Qualifications
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in the engineering field of study, and (10) years of work-related experience
Previous Nuclear experience required
