Brief Description
As a Carpenter, a typical day might include the following :
- Assisting with the buildout and installation of retail fixtures, display cases, counters, wall panels, and other custom carpentry elements
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Working closely with the project management and design teams to bring brand vision and layout plans to life
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
- Installing millwork, trim, shelving, and flooring elements in accordance with design specifications
- Helping maintain clean, organized, and safe work sites during all phases of the buildout
- Traveling to various retail locations as needed to complete projects on-site
- Collaborating with contractors and vendors when necessary to complete construction phases on schedule
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements

1-2 years of carpentry experience in retail, commercial, or high-end residential environments is preferredWillingness to travel to job sites and work flexible hours as neededAbility to read construction documents and follow technical specificationsWorks well under pressure and meets tight deadlinesStrong understanding of framing, finish carpentry, and cabinetry installationFamiliarity with tools and equipment commonly used in retail buildoutsReliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethicPhysical Demands / Work Environment / Hours
