Bookkeeper Asheville - Up to $24 / hr

PrideStaff is recruiting for a Bookkeeper for an accounting firm located in Asheville.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Initiate check run process
  • Match invoices to purchase orders
  • Providing financial, administrative and clerical services
  • Processing and monitoring payments
  • Perform detailed research / adjustment functions
  • Preparing and monitoring the AP / AR system
  • Perform reconciliations and provide resolution on accounts with disputed balances
  • Complete tax forms
  • Enter data, maintain records and launch reports and financial statements

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Three years of proven bookkeeping experience in Accounts Payable / Receivable
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable / receivable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records. As well as bank reconciliations, balance sheet and profit loss preparation.
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and in MS Office is a must.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong time management with respect for deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Hours of Work : Monday - Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm

    Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $19.00 - $24.00 Per Hour
