Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care, and urology.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care activities in accordance with BMC and AORN standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care.

Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care for patients served on the assigned unit.

Understand the principles of growth and development over the lifespan, and assess data reflective of the patient’s status to identify age-specific needs.

Plan for the provision of patient care, including the development, modification, and implementation of care plans in accordance with BMC standards.

Adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act, and be willing to take call on a rotational basis while demonstrating teamwork and flexibility.

Monitor and supervise LPNs as needed.

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

ADN or BSN

Registered Nurse

Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license (upon hire)

BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

ACLS certification (within 30 days of hire)

PALS certification (within 30 days of hire)

A minimum of 1-year Critical Care Experience
