FAHS Minority Fellowship Program is seeking a highly organized, team-oriented, industrious, energetic, and flexible individual who is attentive to detail, open to learning technical skills, and possesses the ability to manage multiple tasks to administer the Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) for marriage and family therapy doctoral and masters students. The MFP Program Coordinator position will provide administrative support for MFP-Doctoral and MFP-Youth programs. Successful candidates will have excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills. Candidates must reside in DC / MD / VA / PA / SC / NC only. Candidates must pass a background check .
This position is supported by the federal grant for 100% of its work on the Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) and is dependent upon the availability of grant funding.
Reporting to the Associate Director of the Minority Fellowship Program, essential functions and responsibilities
Coordinate and respond to communication between volunteers, fellows, and committees.
Complete reports using statistical knowledge and skill base to inform MFP management of decision-making.
Minimum / Desired Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required. Must pass a background check.
The successful candidate will have 1 to 3 years experience in a professional office setting. Experience working with volunteers, boards, and association leadership is a plus. Experience managing projects with deadlines is required. Knowledge of MS Office Suite : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. Knowledge of computer software for survey and application data (Adobe Acrobat, Survey Gizmo, Fluid Review, iMIS) or ability to learn quickly. Must be internet proficient and familiar with the usage of social media platforms.
Job Travel
Ability to travel up to 5%, including weekends.
