We are looking for a talented chef de cuisine, experienced in italian cuisine, to join our team! Featuring an American menu with Italian and french influences, L’Amico honors the food of both Executive Chef Laurent Tourondel’s past and present – inspired by both his upbringing in the European countryside, and a career spent reimagining and redefining “American” cooking and classics.
Requirements :
Candidates for this Chef de Cuisine position with possess at least 5 years of experience in a premium upscale or fine dining restaurant as sous chef or chef, with a high-volume restaurant group. The Chef de Cuisine will assist culinary team with day-to-day kitchen operations and will ensure that staff members are trained and knowledgeable about all products including seasonal ingredients and nutritional offerings. The chef de cuisine will be responsible for maintaining culinary consistency and weekly blackboards. He / She will report to the Culinary Director and will ensure that appropriate cleanliness, maintenance and safety standards are followed. Must have strong organizational and time management skills, and willingness to roll up sleeves and go above and beyond to exceed the expectations of our Guests and always try to find a way to say yes.
