Ensure accurate and timely payment of teammate payroll, including managing deductions and complying with all tax regulationsAudit workflows related to new hires, terminations, transfers, rehires, and leaves of absence for accuracy and completeness; escalate discrepancies to the Associate Resource CenterReview and process final Paid Time Off (PTO) balancesReview and upload payroll data received from dealership partnersRespond to payroll-related inquiries from management, Associate Resource Centers, dealership personnel, third-party vendors, and teammatesPrepare and process manual payments, including gross-to-net calculations and proper tax application in accordance with policySupport the payroll management team to ensure smooth and timely processing of all teammate paymentsContribute to special projects and process improvements as assigned by managementTHE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience in a multi-state, high-volume environment (3,000+ associates)Knowledge of involuntary deductions such as garnishments, child support, and tax leviesFamiliarity with payroll tax regulations and best-in-class payroll practicesUKG Pro experience preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word requiredFPC or CPP certification strongly preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of operating effectively within a shared services environmentSeniority level
