Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
• Maintain freshness standards through proper receiving, processing, packaging, pricing, signage, displaying, and rotation of a complete variety of items
• Assist in leading a team that delivers high quality product, service, and customer experience
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Produce team
• Unload and sort through store deliveries and operate / maintain produce equipment
• Ensure execution of company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ensure team compliance

Qualifications

Pay

$18.55 - $27.75 per hour. Pay is based on applicable experience and qualifications.
