We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a background in information technology (IT) who is eager to start or advance their career with an award-winning, full-service architecture and engineering design and consulting firm! As an IT Help Desk Specialist at EAPC , you will play a crucial role in supporting our team by addressing and resolving a wide range of technology-related issues. Your responsibilities will include providing technical assistance to staff, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. You will be the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Key Responsibilities :
- Technical Support : Respond to staff technology issues via ticketing systems, email, phone, and instant messaging. Provide timely technical assistance or escalate issues as needed.
- Problem Diagnosis : Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot system errors and technical problems, offering effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption.
- Workstation Setup : Build, configure, and deploy new workstations for both new hires and existing employees, ensuring all necessary software and settings are in place.
- Network Troubleshooting : Investigate and resolve network-related issues, ensuring reliable connectivity and optimal performance.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of changes to the network and IT infrastructure, following best practices.
- Software Installation : Install, update, and configure software to resolve technical issues and enhance system functionality.
- Remote Support : Utilize remote access tools to assist employees with off-site technical problems, ensuring quick and efficient resolution.
- Additional Duties : Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the IT department.
Qualifications :
