Maintenance Engineer

Overview

JSG is interested in speaking with Maintenance Engineers with PLC, Boiler, and HVAC experience. This is a long-term contract opportunity with our top client in Elkhorn, NB. Pay is $40 / hr with 40+ hrs weekly and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respond and assist in recovery and repair of utilities and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot failed electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic components using basic and advanced problem-solving techniques; knowledge of test equipment up to predictive maintenance tools.
• Complete assigned preventative maintenance actions per OEM standards and engineering specifications, including minor and major overhauls, calibration, inspections, cleaning, and lubrication.
• Perform basic and advanced corrective action repairs to support safety, quality, and equipment reliability.
• Perform fabrication tasks using shop equipment (mills, lathes, drill press, welding).
• Utilize SAP or other CMMS to review work, generate work requirements, and document completion.
