• Main duties and responsibilities of the Controls Engineer include : Programming AB 5000 series PLC’s, Powerflex PLC’s and Fanuc Robotics
• Using SCADA and Ladder Logix to aid in writing new automation programs
• Provide support to the maintenance crew with hands-on electrical troubleshooting and wiring of 480 volt plant equipment.
• Aid in Preventative Maintenance throughout the facility
• Ensure lock-out, tag-out and all plant equipment safety goals are met
• Work closely with vendors during new equipment installation projects
• Qualifications include : BS in Engineering strongly preferred. Will consider AS degrees
• Strong in PLC and robotic programming and installation projects
• Willingness to be hands-on in a large production facility
