As a Security Professional Unarmed Telecom Patrol in Simi Valley, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology and media environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the location. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a welcoming atmosphere for all. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor access points and observe activity within the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious behavior.

Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.

Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.

Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to changing conditions within a tech and media environment.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Possess a current Guard Card or license, or be able to obtain one if required by state or local regulations.

Possess current CPR and / or First Aid certification.

Have customer service experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
