Overview
Media Buyer
The Paid Search Sr. Media Buyer role leads the campaign management of Paid Search or other paid media channels relevant for the business in domestic markets for multiple theme parks and internal clients / business units (Resorts, Sales / B2B, events, new attractions, etc.). They collaborate with the Paid Search team and Paid Search Sr. Manager, create ad copy, upload and optimize campaigns through self-service platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, and manage media budgets to ensure effective execution.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute all segment media plans while adhering to established media budgets and timelines
- Implement campaign and ad taxonomy utilizing Claravine or another platform
- Complete weekly campaign activity reports / analysis, reconcile and manage media budgets daily
- Monitor campaigns in-progress and make updates as recommended in partnership with the media analytics team
- Analyze large quantities of structured data using analytics tools, reports and dashboards to detect patterns, opportunities and insights that drive channel strategy
- Align and synchronize efforts with the rest of the Paid Search team to ensure campaign tactics drive desired results; suggest and implement cross-team optimizations as needed
- Partner across channel teams to drive efficiencies within campaigns and deliver maximum ROI cross-functionally
- Lead partnership with Creative and Internal Stakeholders to buy and integrate Paid Search campaigns
- Write ad copy that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Collaborate with other departments such as legal, creative, licensing, and brand
- Oversee the ad approval process by managing feedback and revisions from various departments
Secondary responsibilities

Strong understanding of 3rd party tracking, serving and attribution technologies such as Google Campaign Manager, Search Ads 360 or similarBasic knowledge of in-platform campaign management and optimization techniquesDemonstrated ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment and reliabilityExcellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in person and via e-mailAbility to quickly learn new technologies, applications and processesReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsEducation
Bachelor’s degree : Marketing, Business Administration, or Computer Science or related requiredExperience
3+ years of media buying experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; firsthand experience in paid searchExperience managing $500,000+ / year ad spend is a plusKnowledge of general computer programs and media buying platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and SearchAds 360 strongly desiredSeniority level
