Grant Writer

A company is looking for a Grant Writer (Contract-to-Hire).

Key Responsibilities

Research and build a prioritized list of values-aligned public / private funders

Draft letters of intent (LOIs), proposals, budgets, and maintain a grant calendar

Collaborate with team members to gather necessary data and provide weekly updates on submissions

Required Qualifications

2-4+ years of professional grant writing experience with closed awards

Strong writing and editing skills to create outcomes-focused narratives

Organized and deadline-driven, capable of managing multiple submissions

Experience with grant tracking systems and tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Airtable)

Familiarity with Connecticut funders and justice-impacted communities is a plus
