job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssociate degree or higher in Accounting / Finance / Business, or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience with accounting systems like Spectra (industry-specific) or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to similar platforms. Familiarity with small-company environments and a proactive, adaptable mindset. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Perform regular reconciliations of financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage job costing processes for construction projects, specifically tracking time & materials and working with WIP (Work in Progress) schedules. Note : Training is available for WIP but prior experience is a plus. Handle general ledger (GL) accounting tasks, ensuring entries are accurate and timely. Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, with a strong focus on ensuring integrity and transparency. Assist with month-end and year-end closings, providing detailed financial reports. Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and cost allocations for each project. Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial processes.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
