Project Manager Planning

We are currently looking for a full-time Project Manager Planning in our Milwaukee or Mequon office location. This person will collaborate with our internal staff of planners, engineers, and architects to complete a wide variety of projects. Our planning group provides planning and design services to public and private clients in a variety of settings and addresses issues including comprehensive planning, downtown revitalization, economic development, park & rec planning, transportation planning, and development entitlement and design.

We are seeking someone with experience and success as a planning consultant, someone who brings an entrepreneurial spirit and project management expertise to the improvement of communities in collaboration with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

The work you may do :

• Collect, analyze and summarize data from various sources
• Create plan documents, including planning policy (content) and document design (format)
• Design and / or assist with public engagement activities
• Prepare policies for plans and ordinances that guide community development, and / or assist with ordinance administration
• Manage and coordinate the work of other planners on specific projects to ensure budget management and timely task completion
• Lead the preparation of proposals and statements of qualifications
