Estimated annual base pay : $184,000 (minimum) - $230,000 (midpoint) - $276,000 (maximum)

The Director of Engineering is responsible for building, leading, and enhancing a critical engineering organization tasked with designing, developing, validating, and supporting products, systems, and applications. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, this role provides high-level technical and organizational expertise to guide design efforts, customer interactions, and quality-related problem solving. The Director is accountable for setting strategic direction and delivering leadership across a key area of engineering. This specific role oversees a global team of over 80 Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, focusing on both new development and sustainment of production items, while ensuring compliance with rigorous aerospace electronics standards such as DO-254 DAL A and MIL-STD-882.

Education : UNITED STATES Technical / Vocational Degree UNITED STATES Master's degree in Arts / Sciences (MA / MS)
Experience : of increasing level of responsibility within a product development engineering organization Experience of leading a comprehensive engineering organization Champions training required within 1 year Greenbelt or Black belt experience preferred
License & Certifications : Six Sigma - Certification
