Security Officer - Telecom Patrol

As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication, while supporting a welcoming environment. Job Schedule :

DayTime : Wed 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Thur 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Fri 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Sat 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Sun 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and identify individuals who may require assistance or further verification as they enter or leave the site.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client representatives.
  • Support site operations by maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence and assisting with visitor management and / or delivery coordination as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
