Territory Sales Manager – Industrial Distribution
Location : Dallas Fort Worth Area
Overview :
Our client is looking for a results-driven Territory Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales team in the industrial markets. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on building relationships, developing people, and driving measurable growth. You’ll manage a team of 6–10 sales professionals, shape go-to-market strategy, and partner closely with senior leadership to expand our footprint across the region.

What You’ll Do
- Drive growth : Lead the territory’s sales strategy to increase revenue, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Lead a team : Recruit, coach, and mentor a team of outside sales professionals — building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Engage key customers : Build and maintain strong partnerships with industrial clients, understanding their challenges and aligning our solutions to their goals.
- Plan strategically : Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and adjust sales approaches accordingly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally : Work with branch and regional leaders, operations, and marketing teams to develop campaigns and ensure consistent service delivery.
- Manage performance : Set clear sales goals, monitor KPIs and budgets, and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
- Optimize operations : Develop and refine sales methods and procedures that improve efficiency and profitability.
What You Bring
Proven success leading a sales team within industrial distribution (fluid power, motion control, automation, or related sectors preferred).Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data, anticipate market shifts, and turn insights into action.Excellent leadership and communication skills — you know how to motivate, coach, and develop people.A customer-first mindset and ability to translate technical concepts into practical, results-driven solutions.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field .Willingness to travel within your assigned territory.Preferred :
