Job Title : Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

Location : Johnson City-NY

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Shift : 3A-3P – 12-hour shifts (36 hours / week, every other weekend)

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse with strong clinical expertise in trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and pediatric emergency care. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of current ED experience and prior travel nursing experience .

The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat acute and critical conditions.

Responsibilities :

  • Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with emergent medical conditions.
  • Respond rapidly to trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis alerts.
  • Provide high-quality care to pediatric and adult populations.
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions per protocol.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and interventions.
  • Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and safety standards.

    • Requirements :

  • Active RN License (state-specific or compact license)
  • Minimum 3 years of current ED experience required
  • Previous travel experience strongly preferred
  • Certifications :

    • BLS (AHA)

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC preferred
  • Proficient in caring for trauma, cardiac (STEMI), stroke, sepsis, and pediatric patients
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills

    • Additional Details :

  • Shift : Nights, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend rotation
  • Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed)
  • Duration : 13 weeks (with possible extension)
  • Pay Package : Competitive weekly gross (discussed during submission)
