Lumenci is a fast-growing legal tech startup founded by IIT alumni, focused on revolutionizing the legal and intellectual property (IP) industry. We collaborate with top technology firms, law firms, and startups to help them identify, protect, and monetize their intellectual property assets.

Our high-performing technical consulting team is growing, and we’re seeking a Consultant with a strong technical background and proven experience in litigation matters. In this role, you’ll collaborate directly with top-tier talent and renowned Expert Witnesses in the IP litigation and monetization space.

Job responsibilities and duties include :

• Lead team of Associate Consultants in client projects.
• Responsible for delivery of patent analysis and IP monetization research, including but not limited to, technology due diligence, market research, target scouting, infringement analysis, and digital forensics.
• Design test benches and reverse engineer various functionalities using industry-standard tools and / or custom-built tools.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with existing and prospective clients, and serve as an evangelist for Lumenci's services and products.
• Identify and develop relationships with a network of labs for Lumenci’s product testing and Reverse Engineering services.
• Work with product teams to advise in the development and testing of Lumenci’s technology platforms.
• Showcase technology and IP thought leadership via blogs and research reports.
• Collaborate across the organization in-person and with virtual, global teams.
• Attend internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, source code reviews, depositions, trails, etc..

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

At least two (2) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role where the required skills were gained.

Demonstrated proficiency and hands-on experience with : MATLAB, MS Office, Derwent Innovation, Orbit Intelligence, C++, SQL, Python, React, Java, JavaScript, and Swift .

Approximately 40% domestic travel is required.

Work-from-home flexibility.
