Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Microsoft Purview Lead . For this position, you will have to apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including IAM platform support, Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts, consulting and providing solutions for multiple IDAM tracks.
Required Qualifications :
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tempe, AZ , or Raleigh, NC , or Indianapolis, IN , or Richardson, TX , or Providence, RI , or Hartford, CT . This position may require travel in the US.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 4 years of Microsoft Purview.
- Required Experience in : Purview, classification domain knowledge person who can unblock the deployment, and Classification issues.
- Data Governance Implementation : Deploy and configure Microsoft Purview solutions for data cataloging, data lineage, and data quality management.
- Information Protection : Develop and enforce sensitivity labels, encryption policies, and access controls to protect sensitive data.
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) : Implement and manage policies to prevent unauthorized sharing or loss of sensitive information.
- Retention and eDiscovery : Design and manage data retention policies and support eDiscovery processes for regulatory compliance.
- Risk Management : Conduct searches and manage cases related to eDiscovery and insider risk management.
- Integration : Integrate Microsoft Purview with other Microsoft 365 and Azure security services, like Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, to improve threat detection and response.
- Monitoring and Reporting : Continuously monitor data usage and compliance, generating reports and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaboration : Work with legal, compliance, IT, and business teams to understand data governance needs and ensure alignment with security policies.
- Training and Support : Provide technical guidance and training to end-users and IT staff on Purview capabilities and best practices.

Excellent Communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation.Extraordinary Planning, Project Management, Coordination, and Analytical skills.Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite / offshore resources.Exceptional Organizational Skills.Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude.Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.Ability to work in team in diverse / multiple stakeholder environment.Technical Expertise : Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview services, the Microsoft 365 Compliance Center, and Azure security services.Policy Knowledge : Strong understanding of developing and enforcing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and retention policies.Security Frameworks : Proficiency in data security frameworks and compliance regulations.Programming Skills (Preferred) : Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.Collaboration Skills : Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
