Senior Electrical Engineer role at WSP in the U.S. for the Jacksonville, FL office. Licensed Electrical Engineer with extensive healthcare design experience in Florida is sought to support growth of our Property and Buildings business in Jacksonville.

The position involves participating in the full project cycle with a focus on complex sector work such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, labs, and industrial manufacturing projects from design through construction close-out. WSP engages in high-quality, high-profile projects with design services for medical facilities and related facilities.

Your Impact

• Coordinate, review, and approve electrical design plans for projects, ensuring data integrity and compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations.
• Apply high-level electrical engineering techniques to identify improvements across concept development, preliminary design, final design, procurement, construction, and operation.
• Plan and incorporate future-ready techniques and operating strategies that ensure safety and functionality for end-users, systems, and infrastructure.
• Be involved from project inception to completion in the management of electrical design and construction.
• Prepare data visualizations, tables, charts, reports, sketches, calculations, and other illustrations for interpretation or presentation of complex data or analyses.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations related to design and construction issues or opportunities.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies.
