Registered Nurse providing quality patient care to Cardiac patients with PH and Cardio-Oncology diseases. RN Performs as an educator in matters related to specialty area. Manages clinical activities, including medication management, insurance appeals, discharge support, triage patient calls and patient education. May establish administrative policies and procedures for Center of Excellence applications.

DEPARTMENT ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Coordinates with provides to educate patients on Diseases related to PH / Cardio-Oncology
• Medication management, to include prior auth, appeals and education
• Triage patient calls, assist with chart escalation
• Patient education for hospital discharges and inpatient med training

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education / training and other qualifications.
