Overview
Trunk Tools is looking for inspiring and accomplished Business Development Representatives (BDR) to join one of the most excited sales teams in the software industry. Our BDR team is a highly critical, essential component of our sales model and has helped fuel our incredible growth. As a BDR, you'll develop an understanding of the construction industry to help connect the largest and most complex companies around the world with Trunk Tools.
We put a high emphasis on our culture and are looking for optimistic and motivated people to join our team of sales rockstars! This position is only available in-person in Austin.
What you will do and achieve
Create new business opportunities to fuel Trunk Tools growth
Partner with an Account Executive to achieve mutually aligned sales quotas each month
Engage construction professionals through phone, email, and other channels to understand their challenges and identify opportunities to solve them
Have the autonomy to operate beyond your role and help the team improve our process, training, use of technology, and any other aspects of our business
Work with sales management to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to create opportunities for new business
Conduct daily activities including :
Pre-call research and planning
Make a high volume of calls per day
Follow-up with previous contacts (nurturing leads)
Maintain Hubspots records

To REALLY stand out, you have experience in :
1+ years experience in outbound sales / prospecting preferably in the construction industry
SaaS experience, especially sales
Entrepreneurship
Construction industry experience
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required

Compensation Range : $60K - $75K
