Education (one of the following) :Infant Toddler Credential / CDA
Associate's degree in Early Childhood EducationBachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (with 18 ECE credits)Strong understanding of Early Childhood Development theoryExcellent communication and listening skillsExperience in multicultural environments (preferred)Ability to obtain Registry Certificate within 90 daysWHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Early Head Start Teacher, you'll create a nurturing environment for children ages 0-3 by :
Designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculumProviding responsive primary care for infants and toddlersCreating safe, clean, and culturally responsive learning spacesEnsuring compliance with licensing requirements and Early Head Start StandardsSupporting each child's unique cultural background and learning stylePromoting social-emotional development and resilienceChallenging deficit-based narratives about children and familiesWHO WE ARE
