FWF is seeking a results-driven content creator who thrives at the intersection of video production and digital marketing. In this multi-media role, you’ll concept, film, and edit high-impact video content for social, web, and paid campaigns, and pair it with a smart SEO, blog, and website strategy to drive measurable results. You’ll work hands-on with our VP of Marketing and Communications and our Marketing Content Specialist to create cohesive campaigns that connect with our audiences across every channel.
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Video Production : Plan, shoot, and edit videos for organic and paid social, OTT, website, and other campaigns.
- Own SEO Strategy & Website Optimization : Collaborate with VP of Marketing on SEO and AEO strategies, and execute on those to grow organic traffic, improve rankings, and maintain overall website health.
- Blog Strategy : Create and maintain blog calendars, and work with Content Specialist to help optimize posts for SEO.
- Digital Marketing Execution : Drive strategy and execution for paid social campaigns and other digital tactics to ensure content reaches the right audiences.
- Collaboration : Work closely with marketing leadership to build and execute cohesive, cross-channel campaigns
- Monitor performance : Keeping an eye on organic traffic, video engagement, etc and help make data-driven decisions and recommendations for improvements.
- Organization : Maintain organized digital asset libraries to keep content accessible and easy to use.
- Trend following : Keep up with industry trends in video, SEO, and digital tools, and recommend new platforms and tools that drive growth.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of hands-on videography shooting and editing experience2+ years of experience in digital marketing, including things like SEO / AEO, website optimization, paid ad campaign management, or blog strategyBachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experienceHighly skilled in Adobe Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.Strong understanding of lighting, cinematography, and audio recording techniquesExperience with interview subjects, helping them feel comfortable in front of a camera and offering direction during filmingHands-on experience with WordPress CMSKnowledge of Google Analytics, SEMRush, or other SEO / keyword research tools.Proven ability to produce content that drives measurable resultsExperience creating motion graphicsExperience optimizing video for paid / organic channels (social, OTT, etc)Excellent organization, time management, scheduling, and project management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively or independentlyMust have reliable transportationFlexibility to work outside of traditional business hours occasionally to capture content (no more than 2-3 times per quarter)Full-time, on-site presence at our office in Kentwood, MI with occasional work-from-home time discussed on an as-needed basisBonus Points
